A budding student brand's approach to Better practices

Hanging Laundry

"sustainability in terms of what it is that we're doing, I'm thinking something that can last for the long term. And create more closed-loop production cycles. with our brand, you know everything's being made new but nothing's just being thrown out or wasted. there is always something you can do with every part of a garment. we can like really shut up those um, fabric scraps and like repurpose it towards something that like could be useful, no matter its condition. And I think that something that's missed a lot is that sustainable brands still have some aspect of waste. what makes us different is we're taking the waste and we're making it something different rather than like taking something new and thinking what can we do with the waste?we're working from what's already here. our new IS from something old."

"we're trying to incorporate a lot of services that cover the entire spectrum of like why people get rid of their clothing all the way from it being well-worn to choosing to get rid of it because it doesn't fit your taste. we're thinking like in a broad sense.""
